This design and build is a great example of a website design and structure that was unfussy and focussed from the start (2014!). Not much has needed to change over the years apart from iterative upgrades and adding content. Times change though... Originally built with Craft CMS, the site is now updated to use the more appropriate Kirby CMS with a painless migration.

We've been able to bring together some great imagery from book illustrations and covers, to exploring the Open Source/Creative Commons web.

Dominic is author, columnist, academic, and presenter - notably now for the podcast The Rest is History
